Skilled Trades College called us back for round five, this time for their Ajax 3,200 sq ft training facility that had seen better days. The floor was beaten up: old coatings were peeling, glue residue from past installs was still clinging on and visible cracks made the place look tired. Worst of all, the surface had become slick, which is a serious issue in a space packed with tools, boots and constant movement. They needed something that looked sharp but could also handle abuse from daily hands-on training no babysitting, just long-term performance and safety.
We proposed a high-performance flake system that tackled everything from safety to style. We started with PCD diamond tooling to strip off the failing coating and stubborn glue, followed by grinding the entire surface for optimal adhesion. After sealing up cracks, we laid down a tinted polyurethane basecoat that anchored the system. Then came the full flake broadcast classic blend, zero patchiness for both looks and grip. We sealed the deal with a polyaspartic topcoat infused with aluminum oxide, giving the floor added slip resistance without sacrificing gloss or cleanability. The result? A professional, durable, low-maintenance surface built to handle the daily grind. Epoxy Boss delivered on time, on spec and with zero micromanagement. That’s why they keep bringing us back.
