About
Polyaspartic is an aliphatic coating derived from polyurea chemistry. We use PP-S85, a two-component, low-odor hybrid polyaspartic designed as a decorative, durable finish for residential, commercial and industrial floors. It holds its color under UV exposure, resists abrasion, impact and hot-tire pickup, and stands up to oil, fuel and cleaning chemicals. Its slower cure gives installers enough working time for an even finish while still returning floors to service faster than epoxy. It is our standard topcoat for flake systems, garages and outdoor surfaces.
Right Fit
Not For
- Heavy chemical exposure. Labs and plants with aggressive solvents are better served by a polyurethane finish.
- Tight budgets. It costs more than epoxy; indoors, out of the sun, epoxy may be enough.

Humidity
Cures in high humidity, but humidity speeds the reaction. We adjust batch size and timing to keep the finish even.

Needs a dry slab or a moisture membrane underneath; moisture from below causes blistering regardless of the topcoat.
Salt Air & Pools
Resists salt air, pool chemicals and hot-tire pickup — our standard finish for coastal garages and pool decks.
